PHLIPS HEATHCARE Jun 2020 – present
Global RnD Leader (SVP) and NA Site Leader, Personal Health and Consumer Health
- Reorganized the RnD team (incl Venture and Product management) and scaled the Digital Innovation team for the Personal Health Division to grow the Data Analytics and AI/ML capabilities. Developed and deployed the 1st off-line AI model for Philips Sonicare to enable better brushing habits. This premium product delivered $150MM in annual revenue.
- Secured the 1st large-scale contract with Payer/Insurance company which brought in a revenue of $500M. Accomplished this through compliance diligence which enabled BAA/HIPAA agreements to be signed.
- Spearheaded and scaled the digital compliance Information Security and Privacy Management System (ISMS/PIMS) and achieved the ISO27K certification for the 1st time for Personal Health Division. Headed the ISMS/PIMS as the Privacy/ Security officer for Personal Health.
- Orchestrated and established the strategic partnership with Stanford University Prof. B.J Fogg to develop consumer focused Behavioral Health framework to develop “tiny habits” to improve patient health.
- Strengthened the Clinical Research and claims development for Personal Health products during the COVID pandemic through development of safety protocols and camera based remote monitoring.
- Directed and strengthened the innovation product pipeline through two strategic Venture investments and JDAs for product development.

- Translated business needs to technical requirements. Worked with cross functional teams as process integration lead to develop the 1st integrated touch and front light component for Mirasol eReaders. Improved the front light performance by 50% over previous generation QMT front lights. Improved the touch sensitivity by 25% over commercial available touch sensors.
- Explored new materials, process, and equipment for next generation User interaction and display panel and developed and maintained vendor contacts and supply chains in Japan and Taiwan.

Process Engineer, MEMS Technology Development
- Team member chartered with the design and fabrication of Silicon Nitride based MEMS Resonant Transducer to detect carbon dioxide. Established the process flow and managed the fabrication and testing of the device.
